Words are small gods.
They can bless or they can bury.
They hold the power to build a person up, and the power to erase them.
The ones that truly matter are rarely the loud ones.
The ones that destroy rarely look like weapons.
They come disguised as the quietest sentences —
“I’m sorry.”
“I love you.”
“I don’t want to lose you.”
These are the words that shape entire lives.
These are the ones we choke on at the turning points.
The ones we swallow instead of speaking.
And years later, long after the moment has passed,
they still sit heavy in the chest —
unsaid, unforgiven, unforgettable.
The words that still haunt me the most…
